Yet most of us spend a great part of our lives thinking up ways to avoid becoming known.Indeed, much of human life is best described as impersonation. We are role players, every one of us. We say that we feel things we do not feel. We say things we did not do. We say that we believe things we do not believe. We pretend that we are loving when we are full of hostility. We pretend that we are calm and indifferent when we are actually trembling with anxiety and fear.Of course we cannot tell even the people we know and love everything we think or feel. Golf
n general, the short game has been most effective. Besides working hard on it I always used my imagination with a touch of feel in my hands. You should hit the ball according to what your mind dictates but previously you should visualise the shot. This can be achieved with extremely high concentration. All the difficult shots are hit with the hands. I have hit shots simply by visualising the run of the ball. I had no problem in doing this because my mind clearly indicated I could not miss. I do not stand out any particular shot because it is necessary to believe in yourself to overcome any difficulties.
Every time a fellow golfer gives me a piece of advice I have thought about it. A different thing is that this advice can be introduced into my golfing routine. Jaime, O’Grady and others are good friends who have wished me the best and I am grateful for that. My best game has come from the strength of my mind. When you have a balanced and rhythmical swing you should exercise it with looseness and imagination. Finally I must say as long as I believed in my own movements I had the winning results. Moreover, I still believe my swing was the best.

Hockey
"I don't like my hockey sticks touching other sticks, and I don't like them crossing one another, and I kind of have them hidden in the corner. I put baby powder on the ends. I think it's essentially a matter of taking care of what takes care of you."

I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed

My thoughts just before the first real college game of my life: The honor of my race, family and self is at stake. Everyone is expecting me to do big things. I will. My whole body and soul are to be thrown recklessly about the field. Every time the ball is snapped, I will be trying to do more than my part. Fight low, with your eyes open and toward the play. Kevin Peter Pietersen, MBE (born 27 June 1980 in Pietermaritzburg, Natal, South Africa) is a South African-born cricketer who plays for the England cricket team. He is a right-handed batsman and occasional off spin bowler who plays for Hampshire County Cricket Club, England, and is captain of the Indian Premier League team Royal Challengers Bangalore. He was captain of the England Test and One Day International teams from 4 August 2008 to 7 January 2009. He resigned after just three tests and nine One Day Internationals, following a dispute with England coach Peter Moores, who was sacked the same day.[3]
He made his first-class debut for Natal in 1997 before moving to England after voicing his displeasure at the racial quota system in place in South Africa,[4] and to further his opportunities for playing at international level. Andrew "Freddie" Flintoff, MBE, (born 6 December 1977 in Preston, Lancashire) is an English cricketer who plays for Lancashire County Cricket Club, England and Indian Premier League team, Chennai Super Kings. A tall (6' 4") fast bowler, batsman and slip fielder, Flintoff according to the ICC rankings was consistently rated amongst the top international allrounders in both ODI and Test cricket. His nickname "Freddie" or "Fred" comes from the similarity between his surname and that of Fred Flintstone, and was first used in the press as a quip because of the issues he had with his weight when he first emerged onto the scene.
Since his debut in 1998, Flintoff has become an integral player for England, and has both captained and vice-captained the team. However, he has suffered regular injuries throughout his international career, often due to his heavy frame and bowling action. Adam Craig Gilchrist (born 14 November 1971), nicknamed Gilly or Church,[1] was an Australian international cricketer.[2] He is an aggressive left-handed batsman and record-breaking wicket-keeper, who redefined the role for the Australian national team through his aggressive batting. He is considered to be one of the best wicket-keeper-batsmen in the history of the game.[3][4]

Rohit Gurunath Sharma (born 30 April 1987, in Bansod, Nagpur, Maharashtra) is an Indian cricketer. Sharma is a right-handed middle-order batsman and occasional right-arm offbreak bowler. Early life
Sharma completed his primary education at Our Lady Of Vailankanni High School, Mumbai. He was later enrolled in the Swami Vivekanand International School[2] on a scholarship, after his talent was noticed by the school's cricket coach at a summer camp[1]. He excelled in the Giles and Harris Shield school cricket tournaments[1], after which he was selected for the Mumbai Under-17 team [1]. He was later chosen for India's Under-17 and Under-19 teams, and made his mark at the 2006 U-19 World Cup in Sri Lanka, finishing among the top run-getters in the tournament[3]. He was enrolled as a student at Rizvi College, Mumbai, before he was called up to the national side. He has a younger brother named Vishal[citation needed].

Balapuwaduge Ajantha Winslo Mendis (born March 11, 1985 in Moratuwa) is a cricketer who plays for the Sri Lankan national cricket team.
Mendis, although classified as slow-medium, bowls a mixture of deliveries, including googlies, off-breaks, top-spinners, flippers and leg-breaks, as well as the Carrom Ball, released with a flick of his middle finger. For Sri Lanka Army in 2007-08 he averaged a mere 10.56 and took 46 wickets in six games, his strike rate a startling 31. This gained him a call-up to the full Sri Lanka squad for the Caribbean tour in April 2008.
His best bowling performance in a one-day international came in the final of the 2008 Asia Cup, where he took 6 wickets for 13 runs in just his eighth match. His 17 wickets in the tournament earned him the Man of the Series award.[1]

Mahendra Singh Dhoni started his first class career in the year 1999-2000. His one day international debut came after playing five years of first class cricket on the 23rd of December 2004 against Bangladesh. The venue of the match was in Chittagong, Bangladesh. Unfortunately, he was run out on the first ball he faced. It wasn’t a great debut for him where batting is concerned. Luck wasn’t on his side in the first four matches he played. Where as on the fifth match which was played against Pakistan in Visakhapatnam, Dhoni came to the crease one down and managed to score 148 runs from just 123 balls. He hit 15 boundaries and four sixes. He got his first man of the match award that day. Not only a good wicketkeeper but Dhoni proved himself to be a first class batsman too. Rahul Sharad Dravid (Kannada: ರಾಹುಲ್ ಶರದ್ ದ್ರಾವಿಡ, Marathi: राहुल शरद द्रविड) pronunciation (help·info) (born 11 January 1973) is one of the most experienced cricketers in the Indian national team, of which he has been a regular member since 1996. He was appointed as the captain of the Indian cricket team in October 2005 and resigned from the post in September 2007.[1] Dravid was honored as one of the five Wisden Cricketers of the Year in 2000.[2] Dravid was also awarded the ICC Player of the Year and the Test Player of the Year at the inaugural awards ceremony held in 2004.[3]
Known as the Wall due to his ability to bat for long durations, Dravid holds multiple world cricketing records. Sorav Ganguly is one of the opening batsman of Indian team. He is a left handed batsmen, and has scored over 10,000 runs in one days cricket, with an average of over 40 which is considered very good for one days international cricket. He is also useful swing bowler and often contributes with ball as well. However, he is not good on field and he needs to improve his running between the wickets. He also captioned India and he is the most successful Indian caption. Unfortunately, he was out of form for quite some time, and he has to be out of the team recently, but he came back strongly recently, and scored tons of runs. The system of knowing one's exact position on this earth is known as the 'Global Positioning System'. Precise positioning of any location can easily be done with the help of this System. If anyone has a Global Positioning System receiver and if the sky remains clear then no one is going to be lost on this Earth. The receiver is a pocket-sized gadget that makes us inform about our exact position on this earth at any moment. One thing is that this pocket-sized gadget or receiver is very expensive and it also involves a lot of technical ingenuity. The primary function of Global Positioning System is the navigation in three dimensions. The Navigation receivers are used for aircraft, ships, and ground vehicles and sometimes it is also carried in hands by individual.
The working of the System
The GP System provides some special satellite signals which is processed in the receiver. These GPS receivers not only track the exact location but can also compute velocity and time. The positions can even be computed in three dimensional views with the help of four GPS satellite signals. The Space Segment of the Global Positioning System consists of 27 Earth-orbiting GPS satellites. There are 24 operational and 3 extra (in case one fails) GPS satellites. These satellites move round the Earth in 12 hours and send radio signals from space that is being received by the GPS receiver. The control of the Positioning System consists of different tracking stations that are located across the world. These monitoring stations help in tracking signals from those GPS satellites that are continuously orbiting the earth. The Space Vehicles transmit microwave carrier signals. The users of the Global Positioning System have GPS receivers that can convert the satellite signals by which one can estimate the actual position, velocity and time. Four satellites are required to track the three dimensional location and time. The operation of the system is based on a simple mathematical principle called Trilateration. The Trilateration may be of two types i.e. 2-D Trilateration and 3-D Trilateration. In order to make the simple mathematical calculation the GPS receiver should know two things. Firstly the location of the place is to be traced by at least three satellites above the place. Second is the distance between the place and each of those Space Vehicles. Units those have multiple receivers can pick up signals from several GPS satellites at a same time. These radio waves are electromagnetic energy that travels at the speed of light.
